No Sew Curtains

I've seen the No Sew Curtains everywhere on Pinterest. I finally gave it a whirl and made my own for my kitchen window.

I used:
- 1 yard of material (left over)
- Heat and bond tape
- Scissors
- Iron
- curtain rod
- curtain clips


 

I simply cut the material in half, working with one panel at a time.

I laid out my first piece, measuring with my eye I folded about one inch up from the bottom, making my piece even. After folding it over I lightly ironed it to keep it in place. Then did the same with the opposite side.
 

After the sides were in place, I measured out the top and bottom and folded them over the side pieces. Then, again ironed them down lightly.  I flipped it over to see if my patterned lines matched up and if everything looked ok before putting the heat and bond tape in place.
 

 

Once I was satisfied (I realigned my second panel many times) I put the heat and bond in the creases and ironed it down a few times. I did that for all four sides.  Note: my tape does not go to the corner, so that it only hems one layer of fabric at a time. Otherwise it won't stick. 

 

Panels are complete.

I attached the curtain clips to the wider edges and slid them onto the curtain rod.

Voila! Easy no-sew curtain panels!
